Sandi L. Hunter – President / CEO

Founder of Retail Link Associates, Ms. Hunter oversees and directs all of the firm’s leasing, management and advisory activities, and is responsible for leading the company’s strategies for platform business development and add-on acquisition opportunities. Ms. Hunter is also responsible for the firm’s daily business activities, marketing strategy and corporate identity. Her extensive experience in the field – both in leasing and portfolio management includes national, regional and local retail and restaurant tenants as well as franchisees. She has worked closely with private equity firms, developing business and expansion strategies for retailers that do not have in-house real estate departments. Ms. Hunter has worked with many properties, including design/build projects, super regional shopping centers, lifestyle centers, mixed-use urban development and redevelopments, and has leasing experience in a number of markets throughout the United States.

Since founding Retail Link Associates in 1996, Ms. Hunter has initiated, closed, and managed lease transactions, workouts and growth investments in more than 30 portfolio companies in a diverse range of retail and restaurant categories.

Mr. Hunter has an extensive financial background in multiple applications. His diverse background and understanding of real estate allows him to participate in numerous aspects of the company’s divisions. In addition to overseeing the company finance and accounting activities, Mr. Hunter provides expertise in business development, process improvement, financial strategies, advisory services, valuations, and client business plan development including financial proforma.

Ms. Kovacs has contributed to the development of the processes, as well as operational systems needed to integrate the collective talents of the entire team, ensuring that they function effectively to deliver the results that create added value for our clients.

Ms. Kovacs is accomplished in tenant leasing in a number of markets throughout the United States, and her strategic development and portfolio management expertise helps her to deliver levels of service and success beyond our client’s expectations. Ms. Kovacs is recognized for successful completion of transactions from portfolio management to new site selection roll-outs in power centers, lifestyle centers, regional centers, central business districts, and ground up construction projects. Ms. Kovacs visualizes, structures, and helps close transactions for the team, and is respected for creating the highest value and providing consistent follow-up with all parties until the deal is executed and the doors are open.

Ms. Kovacs possesses the outstanding ability to communicate with industry professionals, as well as small proprietors. Throughout the economic downturn, Ms. Kovacs has tenaciously created and preserved critical tenancy through expense reductions, which ultimately has long term positive impact on our client’s portfolio, as well as the Landlord’s property value.

Mr. Kelley serves as a Leasing Advisor specializing in Tenant Representation including site selection, acquisition, and disposition for retail and restaurant clients. He is actively involved in new business development, as well as innovation for a full spectrum of real estate services. Mr. Kelley’s focus, understanding and analysis of the market environments allows him to customize solutions that align with our client’s long term goals and financial objectives, ultimately improving the value of the real estate asset.
